Every hammer head we ship goes through controlled water toughening (quenching) in microcomputer-managed furnaces, producing a pure austenitic matrix free of brittle carbide networks. Initial hardness sits around HB 200. Under operational impact, the surface work-hardens to HB 500+, extending service life 20–40% beyond standard market alternatives.
